Top tips

To make sure you get the best quote for your landscaping job, you should make sure you ask the right questions and know what’s included in the price. There are a few jobs where you should ask your landscaper to show you the breakdown of the quote so you can compare prices efficiently:

Remove patio and lay to lawn
Removing a patio will create a lot of waste, so you should make sure that your landscaper includes skip hire in the price.

Laying a patio
Unless you want to use the excess soil in your garden, make sure your quote includes the removal of it. Also, beware of landscapers that say they can lay a patio quickly, as if they are laying the patio on hardcore, sand or cement, it shouldn’t be fast. They might be wanting to lay slabs straight onto soil, which will affect the positioning of your patio.

As long as you know the average price of landscaping jobs and know what to ask, you will get a great price for your landscaping work.
