5 Ways to Enjoy your Conservatory this Summer

Summer is just around the corner. I’m hoping and praying that the sun starts making a regular appearance soon. The problem with the Great British Summer is that even when the sun’s out, it can still be a bit chilly. That’s why I’m going to use my conservatory to its full potential this year.

A conservatory is a perfect way to enjoy the garden and the perks of being outside without having to brace the breeze. It’s a versatile space that can be used for lots of occasions, such as entertaining and dining. I love sitting in mine to look out at my garden, and you should be able to do that too.

Make sure you enjoy your conservatory this summer. Whether you fancy renovating your current one or you’re planning on building a conservatory, take a look at these 5 ways I’ve put together to make the most out of it.

Extension to the kitchen

Small kitchens cab benefit hugely from a conservatory. Extend the kitchen out into an open plan kitchen/diner and enjoy entertaining in the new space.

Garden room

A garden room is my favourite way to use a conservatory. It’s pretty much the original use, and you can see why. You’ll get fantastic views of your garden and it’s a perfect way to informally entertain guests. Keep window dressings to a minimum to get the best views.

Country breakfast diner

I love this little breakfast area in this conservatory. There’s so much light coming in, which will be ideal for waking you up in the morning. What’s more, you can look out into your garden and soak up some nature before work.

Country seating area

This seating area is perfect to retreat to. I can just imagine curling up with my favourite novel, reading until the sun goes down.

Tea room

If you frequently entertain guests with tea and cake, why not use your conservatory as a tea room? It’s a great way to bring your friends together and enjoy the sunshine.
